SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

   ...VOLUSIA COUNTY
 
AT 220 PM...DOPPLER RADAR IN MELBOURNE SHOWED A SEVERE STORM NEAR
CASSADAGA. THE STORM WILL MOVE EAST NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL
REACH THE COAST BETWEEN NEW SMYRNA BEACH AND EDGEWATER BY 230 PM.
OTHER STRONG STORMS WILL AFFECT THE COAST FROM DAYTONA BEACH SOUTH
TO OAK HILL THROUGH 300 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 58
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
