THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE FL HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 AM EST SUNDAY
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

   ...OSCEOLA COUNTY
 
AT 140 PM...A LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY HAS BEEN DECLARED FOR
AREAS OF NORTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTY WERE CONSIDERABLE FLOODING HAS
OCCURRED.  THE FLOODING HAS LED TO WATER IN RESIDENCES...EVACUATIONS
AND ROAD CLOSURES. THE MAIN AREAS AFFECTED WERE AROUND BIG AND
LITTLE LAKE TOHO.

THE FLOODING WAS A RESULT OF A STATIONARY FRONT ACROSS THE AREA
WHICH WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO BE A FOCUS FOR RAINFALL THROUGH
TONIGHT.  RAINFALL TOTALS SINCE MIDWEEK WERE LIKELY IN THE 8 TO 9
INCH RANGE IN NORTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTY...AND THERE COULD BE ANOTHER
INCH OR TWO OF RAIN THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

RESIDENTS IN OSCEOLA COUNTY THAT ARE PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD TAKE
ACTIONS TO SAVE LIFE AND PROPERTY.  IF TRAVELLING DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH THAT COVERS THE ROADWAY.
