SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA

AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
INCLUDING BISCAYNE BAY
 
AT 750 AM MIAMI DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE
VICINITY OF DOWNTOWN MIAMI MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH. THIS STORM
WILL MOVE OVER BISCAYNE BAY AND AFFECT MIAMI BEACH THROUGH 830 AM.
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE
TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
