FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 135 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI

   ...NORTHWEST CLAY COUNTY
 
DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NEARLY 7 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN OVER
NORTHWEST CLAY COUNTY IN THE LAST 3 HOURS AS NEARLY STATIONARY
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE OVER THE REGION. THE CLAY
COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS THE LOWER CREEK WEST OF MONTPELIER IS NEAR
BANKFUL AND RISING. RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL OVER THE AREA WITH
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND STREAM AND CREEKS LIKELY UNTIL AFTER
MIDNIGHT..WHEN THE SHOWERS SHOULD DISSIPATE.

.BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.
