THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI

   ...UNION COUNTY
 
AT 1150 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW THUNDERSTORMS
WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER WESTERN PORTIONS OF UNION COUNTY. THE
STORMS  ARE MOVING SLOWLY EAST AT LESS THAN 10 MPH. RADAR HAS
INDICATED 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE WESTERN PORTION OF UNION
COUNTY SINCE 8 PM. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL ONLY AGGRAVATE THE
PROBLEMS. FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS IS LIKELY.

.BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER
TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
