THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE NE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 145 AM CDT (1245 AM MDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA

   ...SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN COUNTY
   ...EXTREME EASTERN PERKINS COUNTY
 
AT 1040 PM CDT (940 PM MDT) NORTH PLATTE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED
THAT UP 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER PORTIONS OF EASTERN
PERKINS COUNTY AND SOUTHWEST LINCOLN COUNTY.  MUCH OF THIS RAIN
WILL RUNOFF INTO THE RED WILLOW CREEK...POSSIBLY RESULTING IN FLASH
FLOODING.  OTHER CREEKS AND DRAWS IN THE WARNING AREA ARE ALSO IN
DANGER OF FLOODING.  STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN IN
THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING AREA THROUGH AT LEAST MIDNIGHT CDT (11 PM
MDT).

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGER OF FLOODING.
 
IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.
