000 TTAA00 KILN 312005 FFWILN INC177-OHC037-010005- BULLETIN FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH 403 PM EDT (303 PM EST) SAT MAY 31 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON OH HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 805 PM EDT (705 PM EST) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO ...DARKE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL INDIANA ...WAYNE COUNTY HEAVY RAIN BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES SINCE LAST NIGHT HAS CAUSED MANY SMALL STREAMS ACROSS WAYNE COUNTY INDIANA AND DARKE COUNTY OHIO TO RISE ABOVE BANKFULL. THE WHITEWATER RIVER WAS ALSO ABOVE FLOOD STAGE OVER THE WESTERN PORTION OF WAYNE COUNTY AND HIGH WATER WILL LIKELY MAY IMPACT SOME ROADS. HIGH WATER WAS REPORTED ACROSS MANY COUNTIES ROADS ACROSS DARKE COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL EXPECTED THIS EVENING WILL LIKELY WORSEN FLOOD CONDITIONS. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
