000 TTAA00 KATL 252119 RRA SVRATL GAC081-252200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 517 PM EDT SAT OCT 25 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL GEORGIA ...CRISP COUNTY AT 515 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AROUND 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CORDELE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT IN OR NEAR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
