IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...COWETA COUNTY...SOUTHERN FULTON COUNTY AT 510 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM WESTERN SUBURBS OF ATLANTA TO 5 MILES WEST OF NEWNAN IN COWETA COUNTY. THE LINE WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
