000 TTAA00 KSAT 170016 RRA SVRSAT TXC265-170115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 711 PM CDT WED APR 16 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...KERR COUNTY AT 710 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF MOUNTAIN HOME ALONG INTERSTATE 10 WEST BETWEEN MOUNTAIN HOME AND SEGOVIA. THE STORM IS MOVING TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST AT LESS THAN 10 MPH. HAIL NEAR AN INCH IN DIAMETER WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TDO THE POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN ALSO OCCUR WITH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...FLOODING SMALL STREAMS...LOW AREAS...AND LOW-WATER CROSSINGS.
