FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

AT 630 AM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING RAPIDLY OVER BLANCO COUNTY MOVING TO THE
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL TRAVERSE
THE COUNTY THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVERNIGHT AVERAG
1 1/2 TO 2 1/2 INCHES WITH HIGHER ISOLATED AMOUNTS TO NEAR 3 1/2 INCHES.
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUNOFF QUICKLY FLOODING LOW LYING
AREAS...CREEKS...STREAMS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS. MOTORISTS ARE URGED
TO USE EXTREME CAUTION TRAVELING IN THE HILL COUNTRY THIS MORNING. THE
BLANCO RIVER WILL RISE TO NEAR BANKFULL FROM THE HEADWATERS TO BELOW
KYLE THIS MORNING.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS AND OTHER
PEOPLE IN RECREATION AREAS ALONG CREEKS...STREAMS...AND RIVERS IN
THE WARNING AREA SHOULD MOVE TO HIGH GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
