FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...DE WITT COUNTY...KARNES COUNTY...LAVACA COUNTY
 
AT 300 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED BANDS OF
HEAVY SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH LAVACA AND DEWITT COUNTIES...AND ANOTHER
BAND APPROACHING KARNES COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATES ONE INCH PER HOUR
RAINFALL WITH THESE BANDS OF SHOWERS.
 
DUE TO SATURATED GROUND CONDITIONS MUCH OF THE RAINFALL WILL RAPIDLY
RUNOFF AND RESULT IN FLOODING.
 
AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
