FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  715 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...SOUTHERN FAYETTE COUNTY...NORTHERN LAVACA COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED A HEAVY SHOWER IN
EXCESS OF 1 INCH AN HOUR MOVING ACROSS EXTREME NORTHERN LAVACA COUNTY
TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AT 25 MPH. THIS HEAVY RAIN IS HEADING TOWARD
FLATONIA WHERE A RECENT HEAVY SHOWER PRODUCED NEAR 2 INCH OF RAIN IN THE
PAST HOUR.
 
AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS.  IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND IF YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
 
FLOOD PRONE URBAN AREAS FILL WITH WATER QUICKLY.  CLOGGED STORM
DRAINS MAY CAUSE OTHER AREAS TO FLOOD.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH
