  SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY IN WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE
  MORRILL COUNTY IN WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE
  BANNER COUNTY IN WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE

* UNTIL 1100 PM MDT

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS INCLUDE
  SCOTTSBLUFF AND GERING AREAS AS WELL AS MOST STREAMS DRAINING INTO
  THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
  WIDESPREAD FLOODING WAS OCCURRING IN MUCH OF SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY
  AS WELL AS THE NORTHERN PART OF BANNER COUNTY AND THE WESTERN PART
  OF MORRILL COUNTY AT 710 PM.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN
ACROSS MUCH OF THE CENTRAL PART OF THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE SINCE 4 PM.
ALL COUNTY ROADS WERE REPORTED CLOSED IN SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY WITH SOME
IRRIGATION DITCHES BREACHED.  WATER WAS OVER MANY ROADS...EVEN INTO
WESTERN MORRILL COUNTY.

RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING
ACROSS MAINLY NORTHERN BANNER AND WESTERN MORRILL COUNTIES AT 710 PM.
SOME WEAKER STORMS WERE OVER SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY.  ALL STORMS WERE
DRIFTING EAST AT 10 TO 20 MPH.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  THE ROADBED MAY BE WASHED OUT.
