AT 523 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
WESTERN KNOX COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. MOUNT VERNON
MAY BE AFFECTED BY THIS STORM BY 630 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
