AT 920 AM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED HEAVY RAIN OVER NORTH
CENTRAL OHIO. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AROUND 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN
OVER NORTHERN SECTIONS OF ASHLAND AND RICHLAND COUNTIES...SOUTHERN
LORAIN COUNTY...AND WESTERN MEDINA COUNTY. THE HEAVY RAINS WILL SPREAD
EAST INTO THE AKRON...CANTON AND YOUNGSTOWN AREAS DURING THE MORNING.
 
THESE HEAVY RAINS WILL CAUSE SOME STREET FLOODING AS WELL AS FLOODING OF
URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS.
 
A SKYWARN OBSERVER REPORTED SOME FLOODING ON RTE 42 IN CENTRAL MEDINA
COUNTY AS WELL STREAM FLOODING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROS@S SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
