FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAM
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN  OHIO
 
   ...CUYAHOGA COUNTY...LORAIN COUNTY
 
AT 240 AM EDT DOPPLER RADAR IN CLEVELAND SHOWED AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN
OVER NORTHWEST LORAIN COUNTY NEAR THE CITY OF LORAIN. THIS AREA OF HEAVY
RAIN WAS MOVING EAST AND WILL AFFECT MAINLY NORTHERN LORAIN COUNTY AND
MUCH OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY. OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS OCCURRED IN THESE
AREAS SINCE FRIDAY EVENING AND THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL CAUSE SOME
FLOODING OF ROADS AND STREAMS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
