FLASH FLOOD WARNING  EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 PM CDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE
 
   ...MOORE COUNTY
 
AT 324 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF
THUNDERSTORMS OVER CENTRAL MOORE COUNTY WHICH WERE NEARLY STATIONARY.
RAINFALL ESTIMATES FROM RADAR INDICATE 1 1/2 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN OVER THE AREA WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS EXPECTED ACROSS THE
COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY
OR PAST POLICE BARRICADES. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS IN THE WATER...
ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.  RAPIDLY RISING
WATER CAN ENGULF A VEHICLE AND ITS OCCUPANTS AND SWEEP THEM AWAY.
