FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
 
   ...SOUTHEASTERN GUADALUPE COUNTY
 
AT 525 PM RADAR SHOWED A PERSISTENT THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 10 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SANTA ROSA NEAR THE COMMUNITY PUERTO DE LUNA. THIS STORM
HAS MOVED LITTLE DURING THE PAST HOUR AND HAS PRODUCED HEAVY
RAINFALL...AROUND 1-2 INCHES OF HAS FALLEN SINCE 430 PM. THIS RAIN WILL
FLOW INTO NEARBY ARROYOS AND STREAMS PRODUCING QUICK RISES.
 
BOTH LOCALIZED AND DISTANT HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CREATE DANGEROUS
FLOWS IN ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH THESE WATERS. WATER IN ARROYOS MAY TRAVEL MANY MILES
AND TAKE HOURS TO REACH YOUR LOCATION FROM UPSTREAM RAIN AREAS.
