000 TTAA00 KTUL 010535 SVRTUL OKC113-010615- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 1234 AM CDT SAT JUN 1 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...NORTHERN AND WESTERN OSAGE COUNTY AT 1233 AM...RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 5 MILES WEST OF GRAINOLA TO NORTH OF PONCA CITY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. GRAINOLA...BURBANK AND FORAKER ARE IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS. DAMAGING WINDS WITH GUSTS UP TO 70 MPH WILL OCCUR WITH THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY IN THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING OR HOME. STAY AWAY FROM OUTSIDE WALLS AND WINDOWS.
