THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS EXTENDED
THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE
IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN PENNSYLVANIA

   ...SOUTHERN BUCKS COUNTY

WHILE THE HEAVY RAIN HAS MOVED OUT OF THE AREA...STORM TOTALS OF
AROUND 4 INCHES HAS PRODUCED FLASH FLOODING OF SMALLER CREEKS AND
CONSIDERABLE URBAN FLOODING IN LOWER BUCKS COUNTY.  THE FLOODING WILL
BEGIN TO RECEDE OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS.  

BUT THE NESHAMINY CREEK CONTINUES TO RISE.  RESIDENTS ALONG THIS
WATERWAY ARE URGED TO KEEP A CAREFUL WATCH ON THE NESHAMINY CREEK AND
EVACUATE TO HIGHER GROUND SHOULD ITS WATERS RISE OVER THE BANK.

AVOID AREAS WHICH ARE PRONE TO FLOODING.  BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS
AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS MORE DIFFICULT TO RECOGNIZE FLOOD DANGERS.
MANY STREETS WERE IMPASSABLE IN EASTERN BUCKS COUNTY AND THE
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL WERE ASKING PEOPLE NOT TO
DRIVE THROUGH CERTAIN AREAS TONIGHT.  DO NOT DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES
...THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON.

TELEVISION STATIONS FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION ON THE FLOOD WARNING.
