FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN  PENNSYLVANIA

   ...MONROE COUNTY

HEAVY RAIN IS CONTINUING ACROSS MONROE COUNTY...PENNSYLVANIA. REPORTS
FROM THE STROUDSBERG EMERGENCY OPERATION CENTER INDICATE THAT MANY SMALL
STREAMS AND CREEKS WERE ABOUT TO RISE OVER THEIR BANKS. NATIONAL WEATHER
RADAR IS INDICATING THAT HEAVY RAINSHOWERS ALONG WITH THUNDERSTORMS THAT
WERE MOVING NORTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION.  AUTOMATIC RAINGAGES HAVE REPORTED
NEARLY TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN MONROE COUNTY...PENNSYLVANIA AS
OF 300 AM EDT THIS TUESDAY MORNING.  PERSONS IN NORMALLY FLOODED AREAS
DURING HEAVY RAIN SHOULD TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED AREAS.  THE DEPTH OF THE
WATER MAY BE HIGHER THAN YOU THINK.  RAPIDLY RISING WATERS CAN
QUICKLY ENGULF YOUR VEHICLE AND ITS OCCUPANTS...WASHING THEM AWAY.
REMEMBER...MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
