000 TTAA00 KPHL 082310 FFWPHL PAC011-089-090400- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 610 PM EST FRI NOV 8 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...MONROE COUNTY ...BERKS COUNTY AUTOMATED RAIN GAGES INDICATED THAT 1.5 TO 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS THE AREA...MOST WITHIN THE LAST THREE HOURS. THERE IS STILL A VERY LARGE AREA OF MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN THAT WILL FALL OVER THE AREA THE REST OF THIS EVENING. THIS SHOULD CAUSE FLOODING ON MOST OF THE SMALLER STREAMS IN THE AREA AS WELL AS CONTINUE URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING.
