000 TTAA00 KNYC 092306 TORNYC CTC009-100015- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY 706 PM EDT TUE JUL 9 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM EDT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL CONNECTICUT ...NEW HAVEN COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AT 704 NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO JUST WEST OF SEYMOUR. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE BETHANY AND HAMDEN THIS TORNADO WARNING REPLACES THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED EARLIER.
