000 TTAA00 KMKE 171947 TORMKE WIC111-172015- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN WI 246 PM CDT MON JUN 17 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN ...SOUTHEASTERN SAUK COUNTY AT 240 PM SEVERAL REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS WERE REPORTED IN SOUTHEAST SAUK COUNTY TO THE NORTHWEST OF SAUK CITY. THE STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AND WAS MOVING TOWARD THE DEVILS LAKE STATE PARK AREA. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS SOME ROTATION AND THESE FUNNELS MAY BRIEFLY TOUCHDOWN. THE MOVEMENT OF THE STORM WOULD PLACE THE TORNADO THREAT AREA JUST SOUTH OF BARABOO. GO TO THE BASEMENT OR A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR! HENTZ &
