FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 AM CST
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...ALCORN COUNTY...TIPPAH COUNTY...TISHOMINGO COUNTY
 
AT 1235 AM CST DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS MOVING
ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINS IN EXCESS OF 1.5 INCHES PER HOUR ACROSS
TIPPAH...ALCORN AND TISHOMINGO COUNTIES. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE EAST AT 15 MPH ACROSS THESE AREAS THROUGH 2 AM CST.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
