FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN
 
   ...SOUTHERN BERRIEN COUNTY...SOUTHERN CASS COUNTY
 
AT 4:45 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR
INDICATED NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHERN BERRIEN AND C
SCOUNTIES. THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN. DOPPLER
RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATE UP TO 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER THIS REGION
SINCE THURSDAY MORNING. SEVERAL REPORTS OF FLOODING HAVE BEEN
RECEIVED IN THESE COUNTIES.
 
SLOW MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS
SOUTHERN BERRIEN AND CASS COUNTIES DURING THE REMAINDER OF THE
MORNING HOURS. HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS AND
ADDITONAL FLOODING IS LIKELY.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOU TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY... AND
YOU SHOULD MOVE TO HIG,HER GROUND.
