000 TTAA00 KSAT 210117 TORSAT TXC053-453-210215- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 818 PM CDT FRI SEP 20 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...BURNET COUNTY...TRAVIS COUNTY AT 815 PM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR MARBLE FALLS. THE STORM IS SHOWING INDICATIONS OF A DEVELOPING TORNADO AND THE PUBLIC REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE GROUND NEAR SMITHWICK IN BURNET COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. PEOPLE IN OR NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO PROTECT THEIR LIVES. GO TO THE CENTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING...COVER YOUR HEAD.
