IN SOUTHEAST LOWER MICHIGAN ...LAPEER COUNTY AT 100 AM... DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN NORTHWEST LAPEER COUNTY NEAR COLUMBIAVILLE. THE STORM PRODUCING THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL BE AFFECTING THE TOWNS OF LAPEER AND IMLAY CITY BETWEEN 115 AND 130 AM. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
