* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  CRAWFORD COUNTY - WEST CENTRAL IOWA

* UNTIL 640 AM CDT
 
* ALL SMALL CREEKS AND TRIBUTARIES THAT FLOW INTO THE
  MAINSTEM OF THE FOLLOWING RIVERS...
    WILLOW
    BOYER
    EAST BOYER
    SOLIDER

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
RAINFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES HAS FALLEN OVER A MAJORITY OF THE
COUNTY SINCE 830 PM. EMERGENCY MANAGERS HAVE NOTED THAT SMALL
STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE APPROACHING BANKFUL. CHARTER OAK HAS
REPORTED 5.3 INCHES WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY.

* FORECAST CONDITIONS
THUNDERSTORMS WITH RAINFALLS AROUND 1 INCH PER HOUR WILL LAST
THROUGH 3 AM...AND POSSIBLY TO 4 AM.

LEAVE FLOOD PRONE OR LOW LYING AREAS IMMEDIATELY. THOSE DRIVING IN
RURAL AREAS SHOULD ESPECIALLY BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR WASHED OUT
COUNTY BRIDGES.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM.
