THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY KS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 405 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS

   ...STEVENS COUNTY
 
AT 317 PM CDT...A DEVELOPING TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY DODGE CITY
DOPPLER RADAR 17 MILES SOUTH OF HUGOTON MOVING NORTH NORTHEAST AT
30 MPH. THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN OVER OPEN COUNTRY.

THIS STORM IS ALSO CAPABLE OF LARGE HAIL IN EXCESS ON ONE INCH IN
DIAMETER.  

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS DEVELOPING TORN*ADO...MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND
