SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 735 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN CENTRAL NEW YORK

   ...OSWEGO COUNTY
 
AT 630 PM DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN
ONONDAGA COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND
WILL CROSS THE OSWEGO COUNTY BORDER AT 640 PM AND APPROACH PALERMO
AROUND 7 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH
AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER. FOR YOUR PROTECTION FROM
POTENTIALLY DAM>AGING WINDS...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS MAY ALSO CAUSE RAPID
FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. DON'T ATTEMPT TO
