NCEI Storm Data entries that began inside the alert's area while it was in force. Before 2003 the local storm report archive is thin, so this is the record of what happened rather than what was phoned in. Storm Data before 1996 records only tornadoes, thunderstorm wind and hail.

EASTERN OKLAHOMA/NORTHWEST ARKANSAS FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
345 PM CDT THU OCT 26 1995

WATOR VAPOR SHOWS A SHORTWAVE SCREAMING SOUTHEAST TOWARD CENTRAL
KANSAS FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. THIS SHORTWAVE WILL CLIP
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND ROUND THE BEND WITH ITS SOUTHERN PORTION IN
ARKANSAS AT 12Z FRIDAY. THIS SHORTWAVE WILL DRIVE A COLD FRONT
THROUGH THE REGION AND POSSIBLY BRING SOME SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE BEST
CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS APPEARS TO BE SOUTHEAST OF A JLN-MLC LINE
WHERE THERE APPEARS TO BE MORE MOISTURE DUE TO THE PRESENSE OF SC.

THE AIR MASS OVER EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS SHOULD
DRY OUT LATER TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. THUS...THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF
SUN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. ALSO APPEARS THAT THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF
WIND ON FRIDAY. BOUNDARY WINDS WILL BE IN THE 20 TO 30 KT ZONE AND
8H WINDS ARE 30 TO 45 KTS. THIS COMBINED WITH LARGE DOWNWARD
MOTION AND SUNSHINE SHOULD MAKE IT QUITE BREEZY.

AS FOR TEMPERATURES...THE FWC NUMBERS DO NOT LOOK TOO BAD AND I
JUST SKEWED THEM ONE WAY OR ANOTHER FOR MY PREFERENCES.
