IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI ...SOUTHEASTERN CHRISTIAN COUNTY...NORTHERN TANEY COUNTY AT 423 PM...SPRINGFIELD DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A DEVELOPING TORNADO 32 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SPRINGFIELD...OR 5 MILES NORTH OF FORSYTH. THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL MOVE TOWARD THE GARRISON AREA BY 435. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT.
