IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI ...BARTON COUNTY...JASPER COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI ...VERNON COUNTY RAINFALL OF TWO TO THREE INCHES DURING THE LAST 48 HOURS AND ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ABOUT AN INCH OR MORE EXPECTED THROUGH LATE MORNING MAY CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF LOW AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS...AND ROADS NEAR CREEKS...STREAMS AND RIVERS TO FLOOD. STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE NEAR BANKFULL AND THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN MAY BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE THEM TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS. THIS MINOR FLOODING MAY MAKE SOME ROADS IMPASSABLE.
