   ...ATHENS COUNTY...GALLIA COUNTY...JACKSON COUNTY
   ...MEIGS COUNTY...VINTON COUNTY
 
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY THAT MOVED ACROSS SOUTHEAST OHIO EARLIER THIS
MORNING DUMPED LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAIN OVER THE AREA. THIS COMBINED WITH
THE CONTINUED RAINFALL OVER THE AREA HAS PUSHED MANY STREAMS AND CREEKS
TO BANKFUL AND OVER...CAUSING FLASH FLOODING IN MANY AREAS OF SOUTHEAST
OHIO.
 
SOME OF THE EFFECTED ROADWAYS INCLUDE...IN ATHENS COUNTY FLOODING WAS
REPORTED IN TRIMBLE TOWNSHIP WHERE A CAR WAS FLOODED...IN GALLIA COUNTY
NEAR THE CITY OF VINTON WATER WAS REPORTING COVERING ROUTE 163...WILL
ROAD AND ALSO MCCLASKY ROAD...IN JACKSON COUNTY OHIO HIGH WATER WAS REPO
EIN THE CITY OF JACKSON WHILE THE MEIGS COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED MOST OF
THE MAJOR ROADS AS BEING FLOODED.
