THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN  PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...CHESTER COUNTY
 
A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS REPORTED ON THE GROUND ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH
OF LANCASTER CITY.  THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING THIS TORNADO WAS
ABOUT TO ENTER CHESTER COUNTY NEAR ATGLEN.  EVEN IF THE TORNADO
LIFTS...MANY THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF
PRODUCING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HAIL THE SIZE OF BASEBALLS.
 
THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD PASS
THROUGH OR NEAR COATESVILLE AND DOWNINGTOWN.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS
TORNADO...MOVE TO A BELOW GROUND SHELTER IF AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE
GO TO A SMALL CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
