000 TTAA00 KPHL 292117 TORPHL PAC011-029-292145- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 515 PM EDT MON MAY 29 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...SOUTHERN BERKS COUNTY...NORTHERN CHESTER COUNTY AT 510 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM...POSSIBLY CONTAINING A TORNADO...IN SOUTHERN BERKS COUNTY NEAR BRECKNOCK TOWNSHIP. THE STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL PASS OVER THE REMAINDER OF SOUTHERN BERKS AND NORTHERN CHESTER COUNTIES...NEAR ELVERSON AND THE COVENTRIES. THIS STORM PRODUCED A TORNADO EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON IN LEBANON COUNTY NEAR PALMYRA. GOLF BALL HAIL WAS ALSO REPORTED AT MAPLE GROVE IN BERKS COUNTY DURING THE LAST 15 MINUTES. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...MOVE TO A BELOW GROUND SHELTER IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
