000 TTAA00 KPHL 292237 SVRPHL NJC005-021-292330- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 636 PM EDT MON MAY 29 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NEW JERSEY ...NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON COUNTY...MERCER COUNTY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HAIL AS LARGE AS GOLF BALLS IN CHESTER COUNTY. THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SEVERE WEATHER WAS ABOUT TO CROSS INTO BURLINGTON AND MERCER COUNTIES FROM EDGEWATER PARK NORTHWARD. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD AFFECT ALL OF MERCER COUNTY AND FROM WILLINGBORO AND WESTAMPTON NORTHEASTWARD IN BURLINGTON COUNTY. HEAVY RAINS WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND UNDERPASSES VERY QUICKLY. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
