IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA ...ANOKA COUNTY...EASTERN HENNEPIN COUNTY...ISANTI COUNTY ...RAMSEY COUNTY AT 535 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE FROM CAMBRIDGE TO COON RAPIDS TO MINNEKONKA. THIS LINE OF SEVERE WEATHER WAS 20 MILES WEST OF DOWNTOWN ST PAUL AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE BROOKLYN CENTER... ST PAUL...WHITE BEAR LAKE...SHOREVIEW...BETHEL AND ISANTI. THIS LINE OF STORMS HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DAMAGNING WINDS AND TORRENTIAL RAINS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...LARGFE HAIL... DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM. PEOPLE IN MOBILE HOMES SHOULD GO TO A STORM SHELTER.
