IN SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA ...EASTERN PERKINS COUNTY AT 1625 PM MDT A SPOTTER REPORTED A TORNADO 4 MILES NORTH OF MADRID WHICH IS ABOUT 42 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE. THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH. ELSIE IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
