000 TTAA00 KICT 222256 TORICT KSC155-230000- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WICHITA KS 555 PM CDT MON MAY 22 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS ...EASTERN RENO COUNTY AT 554 PM A WEATHER SPOTTER REPORTED A TORNADO 1 MILE WEST OF PRETTY PRAIRRE OR 10 MILES SOUTH OF HUTCHINSON. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL PASS OVER CHENEY LAKE BY 610 PM. THIS STORM ALSO HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING GOLF BALL TO GRAPEFRUIT SIZED HAIL. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A STAIRWELL OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
