THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  845 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...STEPHENS COUNTY...YOUNG COUNTY
 
AT 743 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A COUPLE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING OVER STEPHENS COUNTY. ONE WAS NEAR IVAN AND THE
OTHER WAS 5 MILES WEST OF BRECKENRIDGE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST
NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. THE STORM NEAR IVAN WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHEASTERN
YOUNG COUNTY BY 8 PM. HAIL UP TO SOFTBALL SIZE HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH
THESE STORMS.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
