000 TTAA00 KCAE 191714 SVRCAE SCC017-075-191800- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC 113 PM EDT FRI MAY 19 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CAROLINA ...CALHOUN COUNTY...ORANGEBURG COUNTY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN WESTERN ORANGEBURG COUNTY NEAR NORWAY MOVING TOWARDS ROWESVILLE AND ORANGEBURG. ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED JUST WEST OF ST MATTHEWS IN CALHOUN COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
