A COUPLE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED RAPIDLY OVER NORTHEAST ERIE AND EASTERN NIAGARA COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE DRIFTING TOWARD THE EAST AT ONLY AROUND 10 MILES AN HOUR AND WERE ACCOMPANIED BY VERY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. MORE THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS ERIE...NIAGARA...ORLEANS...AND GENESEE COUNTIES BETWEEN NOW AND 5 PM. THE GREATEST THREAT IS JUST EAST AND NORTH OF BUFFALO.
