AT 734 RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE NORTHERN PART OF
TUSCALOOSA COUNTY. GOLFBALL SIZED HAIL WAS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM
IN THE SAMANTHA AREA ALONG HIGHWAY 43. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST
AROUND 25 MPH...AND WILL MOVE INTO THE WINDHAM SPRINGS AREA BEFORE
8 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
