000 TTAA00 KAMA 082316 TORAMA TXC211-483-090015- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AMARILLO TX 616 PM CDT THU JUN 8 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE ...HEMPHILL COUNTY...WHEELER COUNTY AT 615 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO INDICATE POSSIBLY DEVELOPING TORNADOES. ONE STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST INTO HEMPHILL COUNTY 10 MILES WEST OF CANADIAN. THE SECOND STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST INTO WHEELER COUNTY 18 MILES WEST OF SHAMROCK. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. DO NOT RUN OUTSIDE TO FIND THE TORNADO...SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.
