SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA THE INDEPENDENT CITIES OF

AND THE ADJACENT WATERS OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...
 
AT 605 PM...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
CITY OF PORTSMOUTH. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND
GUSTY WINDS. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 40 MPH.
