THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      NORTHEAST GRANT...NORTHWEST HOOKER

840 PM MDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES NORTHEAST
OF WHITMAN OR ABOUT 70 MILES NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE.  THE STORM
WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY
HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.
