THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAVANNAH HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  415 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA
 
   ...EFFINGHAM COUNTY...EVANS COUNTY
 
AT 330 PM EDT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR CLAXTON IN
NORTHWEST EVANS COUNTY AND NEAR SPRINGFIELD AND GUYTON IN EFFINGHAM
COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DAMAGING
WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25
MILES AN HOUR.
